Infographic: 13 Things Mindful People Do Differently

What do mindful people do differently than those who aren’t mindful? To start with, they appreciate the little things, forgive others, laugh at themselves, listen actively, express themselves, and pay closer attention to their surroundings. And that’s just the beginning. When you cultivate a mindfulness or meditation practice in your daily life, you become more mindful and less reactive in everything you do in life.

To be mindful is to focus on the present moment, and acknowledge feelings and what is going on without reaction or judgment. By shifting focus from the future, which we cannot predict, or the past, which we cannot change, we can become more successful and productive in the present moment.

Here’s a look at 13 things mindful people do differently—at home and at work—every day.

Very well summarized and true. I can relate this to my day-to-day life. I have seen people who are mindful (I’m not :-)) at work and possess these qualities as mentioned in the article. I know it takes a lot to be like that, but with proper practice things are possible. Thanks for sharing this Melissa!
